FieldMaker

The FieldMaker module provides easy-to-use tools to customize FIMS by adding data fields to any major FIMS record - including Profiles, Donors, Grantees, Gifts, Grants, Pledges, and Scholarships.

The new fields can be of any type: short character or numeric fill-in, code (with lookup), date, long comment (editor fields), radio button, or logical checkbox. The fields appear on-screen under their own tabbed page, which you can layout however you wish.

All fields created by the FieldMaker module are automatically available in standard FIMS reports for sorting and selection. Results or Crystal reports can be created that include the custom data.

A field-building manager handles all the back-end processes. This means staffers do not have to worry about updating the database, generating source code for triggers and viewers, creating and updating records, or maintaining report selection and sorting lists.
