Nonprofit organizations involved in fund raising or endowment building should include Donor and Gift Management in their integrated suite of FIMS modules. The Gift module supports fund raising, prospect tracking and development activities, and maintains donation history.

Donations may be distributed to one, or multiple funds. Gifts can be coded in several ways, which then can be used for statistical evaluation and graphs via FIMS' Trends & Analysis reports. If General Ledger is present, the gift post automatically debits and credits the appropriate accounts.

Gift acknowledgement is automated by linking to Microsoft Word. Thank you letter text can vary automatically by gift type, and staff can generate secondary notification for the fund representative or, in the case of memorial gifts, the bereaved family.
