Profile
Management Features and Benefits
The
Profile module is designed to manage your communications,
contact, and mailing needs. We have highlighted some of the features
and benefits of this module below. For a more complete description
of what the Profile Management module has to offer, please download
our product sheet.
- Comprehensive
information: Stores names, titles, addresses, phone numbers,
e-mails, Websites, nicknames, notes, affiliations, contacts, relationships,
and fund associations, for all modules. Reduces data entry and
improves accuracy.
- Code
System: An unlimited, user-defined affiliation code system
allows foundations to catergorize every person or organization
associated with the foundation into one or many groups. Affiliation
groups can be used to target mailings or extract information in
queries or reports.
- Mailing
Management System: Includes multiple salutation formats for
tailored saluation for specific messages. Alternate addresses
for any Profile (Business, Home, Vacation Home etc.) allow foundations
to direct mail to an address type, such as a vacation home.
- Profile
Relationships:
Defined relationships between profiles, such as a financial planner
and a client, mother and daughter, employer and employee that
includes an automatic inverse relationship feature. This feature
increases institutional knowledge of community interrelationships,
and supports sophisticated relational reports and inquiries: e.g.
Gift history from clients of Financial Planner X.
- Association
Link: FIMS associates particular Profile and Fund records,
which substantially reduces time spent on finding all funds associated
with a particular donor.
- Contact
Tracking System: System tied to Profile and Fund modules records
the date of contact, contact person and nature of contact. Pop-up
tickler file reminds staff of important meetings and events. A
daily reminder assures that you never miss a critical meeting
or forget to return a phone call from an important donor at your
foundation.
- Quick
Access to Giving and Grantee Information: The main Profile
page displays summary, gift and pledge information for a donor.
Access a gift or pledge to view the original transaction and make
adjustments. View the grantee history (applications and awards)
for a selected profile and even make adjustments.
- Promises:
Link to promise information for a selected Profile. Includes promise,
amount, maturity date, maturity value and a comment area. Provides
staff quick access to important promise information. FIMS also
offers a complete Pledge Management system for binding
promises.
- Vendor
Information: Access to vendor profiles associated with your
foundation, including contact information, expense account details,
tax ID number and 1099 adjustment. Reduces labor and effort in
tracking vendors.
