The Foundation Information Management
System (FIMS) employs an advanced contact and communications
system via the Profile Management module that tracks extensive
information on everyone associated with your foundation, from donors
and grantees to vendors and staff. This powerful system provides
advanced mailing controls that support targeted appeals and advanced
mail merges based on a user-defined coding system.
If
staff need to find information on a particular donor, they have
immediate access to a deep well of data, including personal data,
lifetime and annual donation statistics, gift details, a log of
every contact made with the donor, and a list of people associated
with your foundation who have some relationship with this donor
(friends, family, or professional relationships.)
Need
to view a summary of a particular grantee's lifetime grants? FIMS
provides immediate access to these statistics, as well as an extensive
amount of grantee data, such as information on specific awards,
the conditions associated with the granting of those awards, and
whether a grantee has been denied a grant and why.
In
addition, this comprehensive system provides for all of your mailing
needs. Multiple salutations are available, depending on the nature
and formality of the communication (donor statement vs. Christmas
card), as is the ability to contact donors at alternative addresses,
such as a summer home. Now when a gift is made to an endowment or
fund in memory of a loved one, FIMS will ensure the appropriate
sensitive acknowledgements are sent to the donor, as well as the
family of the honoree.
