The Grants & Grantee Management
module in the Foundation Information Management System (FIMS)
provides a comprehensive grants management system, from setting
grant application requirements to approving and paying grants (which
integrate into the Accounts Payable and General Ledger
modules) to setting up payment schedules. Not only does FIMS manage
the grant application process from receipt of application to disbursement
of monies, it helps foundations meet the objectives of their charitable
efforts by tracking how monies are distributed among your overarching
educational goals, such as support for faculty, research, university
or college collections, and academic programs.
